The College have a partnership with Sale Sharks to provide the highest level of coaching expertise possible to our rugby players.  Since we have put the partnership in place we have seen a steady incline in players, both girls and boys wanting to be involved in rugby within the College. 

Aside from the expert coaching the players are receiving, Sale have organised a local ground for our home games in Aldwinians Rugby Club and have also arranged festivals to take place there,  inviting other Colleges to take part.  

The coaches have supervised and coached our College teams at AOC Regional and National events.  The club provide marketing material for our open evenings and are happy to come in and support these vents where required.

Graham Saffery, Head of Sport and Public Services at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ College commented: 

"We're proud to be partnering with Sale Sharks, allowing us to provide high-level rugby coaching in our curriculum and enrichment. The partnership ensures we have the best provision possible at college, for students to join a rugby team, compete at all levels and be coached by ex-players."

Mark Irvine from Sale Sharks added:

"Over the last few months I have been working with an amazing group of rugby players, who have worked hard on developing their rugby skills and knowledge. We have played a handful of fixtures and we have improved every time as a team and as individuals."

Our Rugby team look forward to future games and continue to with Sale Sharks.
