City in the community
CITC offer a bespoke service, working with our BTEC Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching groups, offering trips and opportunities that only those students on the course have access to.聽 These include a regular games programme against other professional team BTEC programmes, with home games being held at one of the stadiums at the Etihad.聽 The students are also invited to activities in the stadia, including graduation ceremonies, flag bearers for games, attend conferences, etc.
Our students have a range of volunteering opportunities at the club and in the community that Manchester City work in, which include attending and volunteering at various disability player events.聽 The students also visit The Nest at Norwich City Football Club each year for a tournament with other BTEC teams and a tour of the stadium
The programme caters for boys and girls with both groups training four times per week on top of the weekly fixtures.聽 Each team has it's own designated coach who take training sessions and manage games.
