Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services

Course Description

This course is a mixture of theory and practical, which allows the students to understand entry into the public services and the different roles and responsibilities that they could have a future career in. They will look at the practical fitness that they will need for entry into the services and also key components of the different jobs, like teamwork and leadership skills, as well as equality diversity and inclusion. The course also teaches discipline and routine, which can help students settle into the public services better. The course is assessed by coursework, which is presented in different manners, from reports to training plans and formal interviews. Students also complete emergency planning and how to emergency plan and navigate a crime scene/ potential situation.
