Work Placements

All students have the opportunity to take part in work placement, for some this is a mandatory element in your study programme on the following courses:

  • BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business Technical Qualification
  • T-Level Education and Early Years
  • T-Level Health
  • BETC Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • BTEC National Extended Certifications in Health and Social Care
  • Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner 
  • BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development
  • BTEC National Extended Diploma in Football Coaching and Development

Our dedicated work placement team will work with you to ensure that you are equipped to access relevant experience, enhance your employability skills and gain industry insight needed for your future aspirations.

Top Tips for Work Placements:

  • Research the business you will be attending
  • Plan your journey in advance
  • Dress appropriately for your placement
  • 100% attendance and good punctuality
  • Be polite and respectful to those who work there
  • Make sure you ask questions if you are unsure of something
